Very nice work. I've done a few simple mild port jobs on some of my saws mostly widening intake and exhaust polishing exhaust and odor matching muffler I am curious about transfers and would like to understand a little better about how they are shaped and why it increases flow. Also what kind of tools you use to get to them.

That was supposed to say port matching not odor.

Simple answer is it increases the amount of fuel buy opening up the lower and giving it a funnel shape. Then shape the uppers to flow fuel charge toward the intake to help push the exuaghst out. Hope that helps.
